UCR fees are due annually and normally collected by the UCR Board of Directors in the 4th quarter between October 1 and December 31 for the upcoming year. The start of the 2022 UCR registration period will begin on October 1, 2021. The UCR fees are established by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). The 2022 UCR fees will reflect the same fees as for 2021 period. On February 13, 2021, the FMCSA published in the Federal Register, the final proposed fees for 2021 UCR (https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/02/13/2021-01761/fees-for-the-unified-carrier-registration-plan-and-agreement).

As such, the final 2021 & 2022 UCR, as well as each subsequent year fees are known and UCR registrations can now be submitted with processing agents with systems that account for the established UCR fees.
